I'M JEFF SPICER.

I’ve lived in Independence my entire life. I've built a life and raised a family in this community. I graduated from William Chrisman High School and raised my two daughters in the same school district. Both of them graduated from Chrisman before heading off to college — one now studies at American University in Washington, D.C., and the other at Washington University in St. Louis.
For 25 years, I’ve built my career as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic and labor manager. I know what it means to work hard, be reliable, and solve problems under pressure. That experience has earned me the trust of working families across our district who see in me a neighbor who shares their struggles and their pride in honest work.
I decided to run for office after years of watching our community get overlooked by leaders who put partisan battles and political ambition ahead of real results. I believe voters deserve more than recycled promises. My campaign is about building a stronger foundation for families like my own — focusing on good-paying jobs, investing in schools, keeping neighborhoods safe, and holding elected officials accountable.
Grounded in family, labor, and a lifelong connection to Independence, I’m ready to work with anyone — Republican, Democrat, or Independent — to get things done for our community.
I’m humbly asking for your vote, so together we can bring real results to the people of Independence and deliver the kind of leadership our families deserve.
Sincerely,
Jeff Spicer
Candidate, MO-HD20
